Certain types of network, such as WiFi, WIMAX, PLC and VPN, do not support multicast IPTV. The challenge for a provider is to offer regular IPTV services over such networks.
To overcome this problem, Anevia proposes a network enabler: the ViaLive Reflector.
The ViaLive Reflector acts like swiss-army knife, enabling different conversions between multicast IPTV and unicast (RTSP), UDP and RTP.
The ViaLive Reflector is available in two configurations:

| Configuration | Conversion | Network Type | Description |
| ViaLive Reflector MU | Multicast -> Unicast (RTSP) | Wifi, Wimax, PLC | The set-top box requests a regular VOD stream using RTSP; the Vialive Reflector responds and actually streams live feed. |
| ViaLive Reflector MUM | Multicast->Unicast-> Multicast | VPN | Typical use case consists of transferring the live multicast feeds to a remote location. Instead of building a new head-end, ViaLive Reflector MUM tunnels the live IPTV feeds to the remote location. |
