The Apalis manager enables advanced features for the Anevia Toucan VOD servers:
Redundancy : if a server is down or has a disk failure, Apalis automatically reconfigures a spare streamer;
Load-Balancing : Apalis controls all Toucan servers and redistribute requests to a given server depending on load, geography, bandwidth, catalog...;
Monitoring : Apalis monitors Toucans and offer a real-time monitoring interface;
CentralizedAdmin : Embedded interfaces are replaced or complemented by the centralized interface of Apalis.
