Anevia Awarded at EEBC with DEPS as Best Convergent Solution for Broadcasting in Eastern Europe

Anevia, French designer of the Flamingo DVB-to-IP Gateways and the Toucan VOD/nPVR servers today announced that it has been awarded with DEPS, as Best Convergent Project / Solution for Broadcasting at EEBC 2007 in Ukraine.

The Anevia award-winning solution serves On-Demand applications with the Toucan “On Demand” (Catch Up TV, nPVR, Start Over, Pause TV) and Live applications with the new Flamingo DVB to IP gateway, successfully launched in June 2007. This powerful and carrier-grade new generation Flamingo can stream over IP up to 60 TV channels in 1RU.

Anevia received the prize at the winners' awards ceremony held at the end of the “EEBC Highlights” event with its partner, DEPS. This contest of the advanced technologies and products in telecommunications and informational technologies awards the best technologies shown. DEPS is a technology-innovative company that actively researches, distributes and promotes innovative solutions and sells to the telecommunications industry.
