Anevia and Smart Com announce IPTV ecosystem compliance at IPTV World Forum 2008

Anevia Live TV and VOD applications are now integrated with Smart Com BeeSmart middleware for the European Telco market

Anevia, the French designer of the FLAMINGO DVB to IP gateways and the TOUCAN VOD/nPVR servers, and Smart Com, middleware vendor, today announced an IPTV ecosystem compliance that aims to strengthen marketing and sales to European telecom operators and ISP of integrated solutions, featuring Smart Com's IPTV middleware and Anevia's live TV and VOD solutions.

This agreement highlights Anevia and Smart Com’s move to maximise the synergies between their flagship products for telecom operators and ISP in Europe:
- Smart Com's advanced BeeSmart IPTV middleware provides new services and features that helps Service Providers to create and offer value added services, including VoD, nPVR, Pause TV, Catch Up TV and other;
- Anevia’s TOUCAN family servers of On-Demand applications such as VoD, nPVR, Pause TV, Catch Up TV or Start Over TV and FLAMINGO DVB to IP family of gateways for live channels streaming over IP.
