CDC Entreprises Innovation invests 1.5 M€ in Anevia to consolidate its European presence November 17th, 2005 Anevia SAS, a video over IP equipment vendor, announces its 1.5 M€ first funding round with CDC Enterprises Innovation. Up to now the company was self-founded and this funding round will enable Anevia to strengthen its European position in order to become a leading player in the fast-growing market of video over ADSL and optical fiber. Anevia targets telecom operators that offer video services through their broadband network (such as TV over ADSL, Video on Demand and Personal Video Recording), as well as the hospitality market (hotels, hospitals, residences and cruise ships). In the field of TriplePlay offers, Anevia is a video servers supplier. Since its creation in 2003, the company has sold to forty customers in 20 countries, with references such as France Telecom R&D, Free, TDF, Deutsche Telekom, CitéFibre. « CDC Enterprises Innovation's experience in financing telecom equipment vendors is a strong and valuable asset.
